Fondée en 1993, UN Watch est une organisation non gouvernementale qui influence les décideurs, éduque l’opinion mondiale et promeut la réforme, la transparence et la responsabilité de l’ONU. Basée à côté des institutions des droits de l’homme de l’ONU à Genève, UN Watch travaille avec la société civile, les dissidents et les victimes pour attirer l’attention internationale sur les situations urgentes des droits de l’homme dans le monde entier. Photo4food a pour mission de financer les repas pour les plus démunis grâce à la vente de photos d’art réalisées par de jeunes artistes et à la réception de dons du public. Ces artistes ont fait don de quelques-unes de leurs œuvres au profit de la fondation. Chacune des œuvres a été sélectionnée par un comité de personnalités qualifiées. La fondation, pour les remercier et les encourager, promeut par ailleurs leur travail auprès d’une large communauté de passionnés et d’acheteurs, notamment en organisant des expositions des principales œuvres. La fondation a été constituée grâce à une dotation de ses fondateurs, Virginie & Olivier Goy, afin de couvrir pendant 10 ans ses frais de fonctionnement.
